4 weeks and counting...

The title has absolutely nothing to do with this weeks fascinating look into the lives of Wylie Junior but anyway!

We've had a nice week, not doing much but taking photos of it - in order to lessen work in the complaints department! Making horses, Christmas cards (you should be waiting with baited breath!), a mess generally! But then today we went to Mark and Kate's house near Reading for a bit of an afternoon gathering. Suffice to say their lovely new (ish) home is now trashed from many adults and approximately six too many children. Although Kate and Mark put on a very brave face and were quite in to the whole entertainment thing... which was certainly a good job in our case! Anyway, good food and great fun. Two tired bunnies later (Nick and Me - they're fine - slept on the way home - grrrrrr!!!!) I'm not going to write much! Jessica and Madeline are asleep in bed ALLEGEDLY although the "dainty" footsteps above my head seem to be contradicting this story so I'll go and silently read the riot act! (You're not supposed to talk to them after they've gone to bed afterall!)
Goodnight!

Oooops, getting a bit lax!

So it's been two weeks but very little has happened in that time. Nothing of any great note anyway, just general life stuff. We decorated some biscuits at some point though!

But this week was a little more exciting. I only worked half a day because I fainted... that was very exciting for me! Nick handed in his first draft of his thesis to his supervisors.... also exciting for me (and I suppose for him too!), AND we went to see The Old F.C. at Milton Keynes with Grandma and Grandad. That was fairly uneventful, which is a good job because the battery ran out on the camera, hence the lack of evidence. Jessica decided to "get shy" and Madeline wasn't going to have anything to do with the nutter in the dodgy suit! So that was nice. They both managed a "ta" as they got their bootie and left though!

Then this weekend I was let out for good behaviour and had a meal with Helen and Lucy - no children to "deal" with - bliss! And on Sunday Pete, Courtney, Sam and Melissa (Courtney's sis - for those of you who don't remember/know!) came to see us. We found out that the lights were going to be switched on this evening so we all trundled down there to have a look. Hmmmmmm. Leamington Spa don't really do it big styleeeee, the lights were a bit ho-hum but we all had a nice time watching the girls do their thang at the fair bit. Ooohhh, and we all tried roasted chestnuts for the first time - it took a Canadian to buy them - but we were all in there when it came to the tasting. If you don't know already, they're "s'gustin"!!!!! You have it on high authority!

So that's it really. I'd like to say see you next week, but I'm proving a little unreliable aren't I! Perhaps more fitting to say

To Be Continued.........
