La decorateurs!

So after the strip club the weekend before, we palmed daughter off on Wylie grandparents (MANY thanks for that!) and enlisted Circuit parents (poor suckers) as the team. After a gruelling first day of 15 1/2 hours and feeling like we were going nowhere, it picked up on Sunday and we got it done in the nick of time. No thanks to Nick obviously who spent the last hour trying to get us all to pretend we were the ground force team. He wanted to hide around the back and surprise Jess etc a la Alan & co but there we go. Even suggested I take on the role of Charlie (not appropriate due to my curvy figure - support always required!).

So there you have it. Suffice to say, the rooms look nothing like those in the photos as it's actually finished now, but at least you now all know how it happened (neither Nick nor my masterful skills in DIY thankfully!).

Hmmmm, is it wise to allow Nick access to a drill and electricity???? At the same time???? Posted by Hello

Weekend strip club

Nothing very exciting has happened in our lives apart from the strip joint at the weekend. We're finally decorating the lounge & dining room, so we spent most of Saturday stripping it. Of course, Jessica was particularly helpful. We'll need to un-train all the pulling wallpaper off the wall techniques she grasped!

So then on Monday, Nick went shopping & bought the bike seat & helmet. Does she love it? Does she ever! So there you have it. A photo taken 10 minutes ago, hot off the press as they say!
