Better late than never

Well, we had a boring half term week as we didn't really do anything. A trip to Funky Monkeys (that was hell on earth!), lots of playing, baking, a bit of making but not too much and that was that, we were at the weekend. Nick worked on Saturday so we just added another day to the working week but on Sunday we went for lunch at Mel's (for those of you who don't know - she's one of Nick's "school" friends, who happens to have known Beck for years so we had a small gathering). We went to play at Mel's local park, "just across the road" and Jessica and Madeline had a wail of a time. We came home exhausted!

Then all of a sudden it was this week. And yesterday we had about an hour of frivolity where we dressed up, pretended to be witches, answered the door to some trick or treaters (felt like hundreds but in reality it was just tea-time so a bit awkward!) and looked at not very spooky pumpkins.
