Catch up time.
Right then people, Nick here. A certain lack of enthusiasm in the blogging department has meant that you are to be treated to one of my irregular postings. And boy do I have a lot of ground to cover. Almost three weeks of news to discuss and view. The pictures should match onto the following events - you'll have to work out when one event ends and the other begins.
To begin with I give you Thomas' Christening. That's right, Nephew number three had his special day. Our girls loved it and there was much running around (including during the service!) eating of cake and others such larks. The day after (Bank Holiday Monday) involved a trip to Black Park in London where various Latin School types plus significant others met for a picnic. The weather held off, and assorted babies, toddlers and young men ate, played and walked a long way to the only public convenience which was on the other side of the large pond. Mind you only one person was stupid enough to walk the wrong way round but I still maintain that the sign was hard to see.
In the week that followed Liz and the girls met up with MaxHarry et al at Hatton Country Park or World Farm type thingy. I think the girls enjoyed it although Liz reported back that it wasn't very conducive for gossip on account of having to follow children around. The mind boggles.
Then, on Sunday Liz and I went to Emma Jane and Sean's wedding. Given the fact that the Bride is a life long Arsenal fan the day exceeded all expectations. We ate, drank, and danced the night away, before my poor down trodden wife drove us back to Botolph Claydon arriving at about 1.30 am. I think the pictures can express the atmosphere much more effectively than any words.
So there you have it - all up to date. Enjoy your window onto the Wylie world.
Nick
