Day 5 - Gravenhurst - The Day After

Just when we thought we'd got away with it and the Canadians had been fooled into thinking Pete's friends and family were a respectable lot, the day after saw everyone deconstructing the wedding over a Blaincroft Brunch. Jessica and Madeline wore their Eskimo/Easter Bunny/Wombles/Ponchos made for them by Nana and were widely admired, and, as we had become accustomed to by then the hospitality was first class. I even remembered to take a picture of Auntie Sharon, and had to stop myself from blogging it straight away.

Post brunch the Inn on the Bay crew went off to an Easter Egg hunt, with the only problem being that everyone had left it to someone else to find out where it was. Undeterred we headed back to Gull Lake for a little picnic and a play on the boat thing.

Heading back to the B & B there was much in the way of rest and recuperation before the two families headed down to Boston Pizza for some food. Newest SIL demonstrated admirable immunity to the ribbing she'd received in her husbands speech and went for the nachos option, although it is unclear whether she ordered them or they just bought them out when they saw she was there. Then the magnetic field around Blaincroft once more drew us in for a cup of tea before weary parents and weary children headed back to bed.
