William's 4th Birthday!

Well, the invitation arrived from Dora, and the girls were requested to help find the cake so that they did! We arrived only to find that she hadn't made the party bags (that Dora... she leaves a lot to be desired on the organization front!), she'd lost the cakes and hadn't reminded Liz to make a party CD (oops!).

Never-the-less, a great time was had by all, dancing, crossing the river, putting the nose on the clown, passing the parcel, dancing, running, sulking, dancing, balloon chasing, running, dancing and running! The birthday boy himself was a star, knew what to do/say at the right moment (well rehearsed - the pressure's on Jessica) and kept the adrenaline at a suitable "max" level!

We then went to see the Thurlby handiwork in the shape of "A Homemade Christmas" tree (the decorations, not the actual pine!). A masterpiece in the field of... art?!!!! It truly was beautiful (but then I'm slightly biased!), as were a lot of the others there - a definite "aaahhhh" factor present.

Anyway, ho hum. That was that and today was spent trying to wake up and tidying the garden. The updates'll come thick and fast now - 'Tis the season to be jolly afterall!
