The aftermath
Today has been as Nick describes it children, heat and hangover. For me it's just the first two. Some very grumpy (all), over-tired (all), tantrumming (all) people, eating lots of sugar (all) and drinking lots of caffeine (adults only).
In short, we love them, but today is proof of the one reason why you shouldn't have children! They don't let you lie on the sofa and do nothing but recover, you must entertain (although the Gaskells have impressively assisted on that one), break up fights, feed, and water at REGULAR intervals. It's proving hard!
Anyway, the Scottish contingent have gone so here's some photos.

Oh Yes! What gives with the credit for entertainment going only to the Gaskell's? I kindly gave Liz the oppoertunity to experience having THREE children and no husband for a morning while da men played golf and I took the small injured Goddaughter to casualty. Now if that isn't entertainment... it's a nightmare! BIG thanks Wylie Wonder!
